Federal Programs

AHCS manages Federally Funded programs under the requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), currently enacted as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), in cooperation with the State of Idaho and the Federal Government. The list of Federal Programs at AHCS include:

Title IA – College and Career Ready: Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
Title IIA – Teacher and Principal Quality: Increasing the academic achievement of all students by helping schools and districts improve teacher and principal quality and ensure that all teachers are highly qualified.
Title IV, Part A: Grants for Well-rounded educational opportunities, social and emotional supports, and effective technology use and integration.
Title IV, Part A: Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities.
Title V-B: Rural Education Assistance Program
Title X – McKinney-Vento Homeless Education: Ensuring that students who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence are provided a free, appropriate public education.
