If you're interested in donating to AHCS to support things like the AHCS Music Program, our Patriotic Education activities, upgrades to our school security features, and other programs, we invite you to donate through our Square Donations portal, linked below. You are also welcome to mail or drop off any donations to the school.

Also, with the year 2021 coming to an end in just a few months, we wanted to remind you of some of the tax benefits that come from donating to American Heritage Charter School. AHCS is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, but more importantly, we are also an Idaho Public Charter School.

Concerning the Idaho education tax credit, Idaho individuals may take up to 50% of a gift of $1,000 (a tax credit of $500). Idaho married couples may take up to 50% of a gift of $2,000 (a tax credit of $1,000). Idaho corporations may take up to 50% of a gift of $10,000 (a tax credit of $5,000).

Our vision and mission is to

"Create Patriotic, Educated Leaders"

Our Curriculum

Building Americans

E.D. Hirsch wrote in his book, In The Making of Americans, that there are two central reasons for public education in America:  (1) to create social mobility, allowing bright, hard-working students of all backgrounds to have the opportunity of the American dream; and (2) to create social cohesion, binding children of diverse economic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds into citizens of a single nation.

We celebrate the diversity of cultural backgrounds that have been brought together into the great American melting pot; and we strive to focus on the uniquely American ideals, history, culture, and Constitutional principals that bind us together as a nation.

Guided by this Vision, our Board of Directors and staff take great care to research and utilize curricular materials that will afford our students the greatest possible educational advantage. All of the curriculum and materials used comply with content standards established by the Idaho State Department of Education.
